Never Say Never...

"Not have enough time to take a shower? Me? Uh, Uh, never." That's what I always thought when I saw moms complaining of not having enough time to get things done.  Now?  One of my biggest frustrations is finding the time to workout, and then not being able to get in a shower immediately after. Hmph.  It's crazy really, the amount of things I claimed would "never" happen to me once I had a baby.  And guess what?  That list is probably just getting started, and only going to get bigger.  Amazingly, I still find myself thinking "I will never let Izzy do that." Yeah.  We'll see, lol.

What are some things you swore you would never do with your kids that you did, indeed, end up doing?

I told myself I would never yell, let them sleep in the bed with me and suck a pacifier..I'm sure I'll be back later to add more to my list!!

At the moment I still listing what I will never do (get cross, slap them, yell at them, say nasty words and argue in front of them). I am praying God will help me in achieve some of these points.

My fellow TMSG community, please join me in my new venture. From today I am hosting Thoughtful Wednesdays blog hop. I hope you will be nice to join me and find new way to meet like minded people.

Hmmm. I said I would never let him sleep in our bed. (yeah, right), I said I would never breastfeed past 3 months, I said I would never let Pookah have the remote just to shut him up. I've stopped saying the things I will never do, because I'm learning that you just never know.

never let my baby watch as many cartoons as she does though in my defense I work all day and the nanny is the one who chooses to keep the tv on all day for background noise...not sure I like it but, if it keeps the baby quiet then I dont' really care ;) lol

lol, yes I think that's a sign your life's changed, when you find yourself doing things you never thought you would. I look at it in the positive way, yeah my little one sleeps with me and I never though he'd do that, but that's what motherhood is; unpredictable, so might as well go along through whatever it takes you.

PS. I have given my kiddo a piece of candy as I'm writing this, i feel soo bad . =(

I'm with Casey- I was never going to let my kiddo watch TV. But seriously? If I don't turn it on every now and then I wouldn't get a thing accomplished!

I swore I'd make time for me to do something that was all mine (a girls night, a hobby, anything that didn't involve being a mom or wife)....so far...I'm coming up empty
Showers are for ambitious people and that's why I shower at 4 p.m. ha ha Kidding, kidding. I told myself I'd never count to 3. I'm really good with those numbers now.

I said I'd never let Lewis watch TV before 2. But I like to unwind with a little TV when I come home and of course he notices the programming. I didn't start him watching Nick Jr though - The Mister did. However, if I were trying to work from home I would probably welcome the 30 minute distraction that Yo Gabba Gabba gives us LOL!
