Going Under the Knife

Would you ever consider having any cosmetic procedures done to your face?  Botox, fillers? More drastic things like a nose job, or brow lift?  Would your decision change if money weren't an option?  What about smaller things, like teeth whitening, chemical peels?  Have you ever done any of these things? (we won't tell!)

While I'm pretty sure I don't want to go under the knife, I have gotten teeth whitening (Zoom!) done on my teeth just before my wedding. I'm also finishing up Laser Hair removal in the bikini and arm pit area. I'd consider laser resurfacing on the face and the hair removal people gave me a freebie on my abdominal stretch marks. A boob lift would be nice after nursing 2 boys for 2+ years each, but I won't ever get it done... even if I win the lottery. Some times it's nice to think about changing certain body parts, but I refuse to do anything that involves anesthesia and/or cutting.

I used to be SO opposed to any type of surgical enhancement and I'm still not a huge fan of going crazy and changing an appearance so much that it isn't realistic anymore however; one thing I feel like God showed me is that I need to be aware of the fact that getting braces and wanting straight teeth if I wasn't born with them is really no different than wanting bigger boobs if I was born with small ones. We all have things that we would like to see improved a tad here and there...I have never been a fan of my nose and would not be opposed to a minor adjustment via a nose job...a breast enhancement surgery doesn't even totally turn me off. The reality is I want women to embrace their true inner beauty first! If we are doing things with a healthy motive then is it so bad? Yes, it's sad that we even need to or want to alter our images when beauty is really in the eye of the beholder but, these are the days we live in I suppose right?
Personally, I am willing to go with what the good Lord gave me, but to each his own. (Not that I couldn't stand a few nips and tucks, but I just wouldn't do it.) Just stopped by to say he from SITS. Hope you find time to do the same.

I will always consider cosmetic enhancements for the teeth. I will not be in my 50's or 60's with teeth turning colors or missing, no sir. As far as the face, I wont touch it. You can fill up your face by gaining weight. It is very simple. You cannot be a size 2 and 60, not a good look. Just eat !! LOL! I think once you start altering your face, it just starts to look foolish and ppl can tell. I have no idea about other cosmetic procedures (breast lift, tummy tuck). You never know what will happen in your life that will dramatically alter your body. If you have tried everything natural and it still isn't working, do whatever you feel will make you happy. It is your money and your life.

Just go easy on the face. LOL!

I wouldn't do anything like that because this is the way god made me so why should I go and change it. People all through out history managed to live with out these procedures so I am sure I will make it as well!

I can't say that I'd get anything done to my face, but for sure I'd get a boob lift/reduction after I'm done having kids. These puppies have been a major pain since they finally stopped getting bigger when I was 16 and I'd be happy to get the girls fixed up after their tour of duty is up! :D

I won't get anything done to my face, but after I am done having kids, I plan on a boob lift and maybe a tummy tuck. I know some good surgeons and have already had a consultation!!!

I would absolutely consider the "mommy makeover" (boob lift + tummy tuck) when I'm done with the kids. Especially if I finish losing the weight and my stomach is just not the same anymore!

I can't imagine ever doing something to my face, but I tell me husband all the time I'm gonna buy me some boobies, LOL. If I get any work done, it will definitely be after I've finished having children.

Heck no..my body is a temple! I was watching MTV's True Life- I hate my face about girls with BDD (Body Dismorphic Disorder) where these girls believed they were so ugly (even though by some standards they were average) they had to get plastic surgery to improve themselves and even after that, they were still unhappy. The show made me kind of sad, because even people without that disorder feel they need plastic surgery. I thank God for what I got and what I don't have I know I'm unique and there's no one else in this world made quite like me. Doesn't mean I don't get insecure or have a bad hair day, it just means that I try to keep a positive self-image because you're stuck with your body for a long time!
for sure it's a good way to do an Abdominoplastie
